Bachelor of Science (B.S.) - Major in Philosophy (2940)
The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with a major in Philosophy consists of 36 credit hours of coursework and includes the completion of coursework to satisfy additional requirements of the B.S. degree. PHIL 110 , PHIL 120 , and PHIL 160 may be used to meet general education requirements. Under the direction of their philosophy advisors, students should select philosophy electives based on their educational and career goals. Majors must take a major field examination and assemble a portfolio consisting of three writing samples at approximately 2,500 words each from advanced classes.
