Non-Licensure Option (5164)


Candidates for the non-licensure option of the K-5 concentration must work out a program of study with their advisers for those hours in place of coursework requiring admission to the Educator Preparation Program, to be selected from the following coursework:

  • any upper-division education course not requiring admission to the Educator Preparation Program
  • any upper-division psychology course
  • AGRI 450 
  • any upper-division subject matter course in the areas of English, History, Political Science, Economics, Health, Geography or Physical Education
  • any Child & Family Studies course
  • any lab science
