Family and Consumer Sciences: Gerontology Concentration (1215), B.S.F.C.S.

The gerontology concentration is designed to provide a broad-based education in adult development and family relationships while allowing flexibility in course work to meet individual career goals. Students in the concentration prepare for career opportunities such as: senior services coordinator, family life educator, adult care administrator, and related jobs in the field. Observations and community service in various locations, in addition to course work, provide the means for the student to gain the knowledge and skills needed in the field.
