This foundational veterinary surgery lab is designed for veterinary technician students to gain hands-on experience in the fundamental aspects of veterinary surgical procedures. The course covers essential skills and knowledge needed to assist in a veterinary surgical setting, with a focus on the following: anesthesia, surgical equipment, monitoring, preoperative planning, intraoperative care, and postoperative care.
