VET 380 - Preceptorship in Veterinary Health Technology

Preceptorship in Veterinary Health Technology is a hands-on learning experience designed to provide practical experience in a veterinary setting. With course instructor approval, the student will complete a preceptorship with a veterinary facility and obtain career experience for a minimum of 80 hours, while reporting back to the course instructor and completing class assignments which will deepen understanding of the veterinary field and mirror experiences at the preceptorship site. Course can be repeated one time for a total of 6 hours of credit.

Prerequisite(s): 4 hours of BIOL and 4 hours of CHEM
