An introduction to geological field methods. Topics include keeping a field notebook of observations and measurements, outcrop sketches, and specimen descriptions, basic orienteering, taking field measurements, and preparing a field report. Mandatory field trip required.

Prerequisite(s): GEOS 120 or GEOS 130 or equivalent honors course.
