Candidates who are earning an endorsement will be provided a 100-hour faculty-supervised field experience internship with opportunities to apply classroom theories and techniques in real-world educational environments. The internship experience for candidates earning initial licensure in School Library Information Specialist will consist of 7.5 weeks of full-time field experience for each internship class for a total of 15 weeks, as required for state initial licensure standards. On-site educational activities will be completed under the direction of a qualified cooperating library information specialist in an approved Pre-K-6 school library.
