COUN 784 - Mental Health Services Management, Consultation, and Supervision

A study of the organization and administration of clinical mental health services; needs assessment, funding acquisition, and program management; consultation; and clinical supervision of mental health service providers. Issues such as reimbursement, right to practice, core provider status, practice privileges within managed care systems, and expert witness status are also included.

Prerequisite(s): admission to the graduate counseling program or consent of instructor.
