Land Surveying and Geomatics Certificate (LSGC) CP10

The Land Surveying and Geomatics Certificate (LSGC) program defines a group of courses offered by the Department of Agriculture, Geoscience, and Natural Resources and the Department of Engineering that are formulated to meet the Tennessee Board of Examiners for Land Surveyors (TBELS) educational requirements to apply for licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS).

Students completing B.S. degree requirements in a science-based undergraduate curriculum or who have already completed a bachelor’s degree are eligible to seek the certificate provided they have completed at least one semester of college-level mathematics.

The following courses, offered at The University of Tennessee at Martin, are required for the certificate. A minimum grade of C is required for each course taken for the Land Surveying and Geomatics Certificate.
