Licensure K-12 Concentration (5213)
|
|
The K-12 Licensure program is one of three in the State of Tennessee, which is CAEP and State Board approved offering both a Physical Education and a Health and Wellness endorsement. Students engage with faculty in community service, research, attend and present at local and national conferences. Students participate in a variety of field-based teaching experiences prior to a culminating semester of student teaching. Our unique program is an ideal fit for students who value health-enhancing physical activity, physical literacy, and sports. Highly qualified and professional graduating students are licensed to teach K-12 Physical Education, and Health and Wellness. Students interested in coaching are also invited to pursue this concentration. Please see the Office of Educator Preparation Program in the College of Education, Health, and Behavioral Sciences’ section for admission guidelines and licensure information.
