Human Performance Concentration (5218)


This concentration allows the student to customize a program by combining areas of interest into one degree program. Additionally, this program can lead to professional or graduate studies through careful selection of coursework. A Human Performance graduate can be successful in many career venues when working closely with an academic advisor.

Curricular Requirements


The student must complete the following minimal requirements and earn a grade of C or better in all courses taken in the department.

University General Education Core (38-39 Hours)


*General Education requirements are met if the student transfers associate degree credits from an articulated institution. For students who have not completed an associate’s degree or who are transferring from an institution where there is no articulation agreement, courses will be assessed individually. A single course may not be used in multiple categories.

Additional HHP General Education Requirements (9 Hours)


HHP Human Performance Optional Electives (43 Hours)


Health and Human Performance will only accept 12 hours from a single discipline other than HHP departmental courses.

It is recommended to take HPER 303  for additional success.
