Veterinary Technology and Management Concentration (1173)


This curriculum is designed for students who have successfully completed an associate’s degree from an AVMA CVTEA accredited veterinary technology program. The option will allow students to expand their knowledge in the areas of animal science and agribusiness management as it relates to the veterinary profession. Emphasis will be placed on management training of veterinary technologists. Students receive instruction in agricultural science, agricultural economics, accounting, finance, policy, and marketing. This will help students with career advancement in veterinary practice management, veterinary technology education, pharmaceutical sales, and laboratory medicine.

Concentration Requirements (60 Hours)

Students can transfer no more than 9 upper division hours without special permission.
