ECON 350 - Introductory Econometrics

When Offered: Spring, Odd Year

This course introduces students to basic econometrics. Using an applied approach, this course equips students with the statistical tools and theoretical underpinnings to analyze economic data and test hypotheses. The course will focus on using data and causal inference to answer economic questions. Among many topics, it will address linear regression (simple and multiple regression analysis), times-series analysis, panel data, and many of the issues that arise in empirical research along with the most up-to-date workarounds.

Prerequisite(s): ECON 201  and ECON 202
