Study of technique and repertoire appropriate to the instrument or voice. Students will receive 1 hour of private instruction per week and are expected to practice at least ten hours per week. This course fulfills degree requirements for music education, and it is an option for B.A.M. students; it does not count toward music performance or pedagogy degrees. May be repeated for credit. Applied music fee required.

Prerequisites: upper-division audition and acceptance into upper-division studies in music education or the B.A.M.
