ECED 360 - Assessment in Early Childhood

The purpose and scope of this course are for students to explore the administration, scoring, and interpretation of developmentally appropriate standardized test instruments used during the early childhood years. Teacher-designed tests and formal and informal assessments to guide developmentally appropriate teaching strategies will be investigated. Course also considers the professional and ethical issues associated with assessing young children.
  Must make a C or better.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to Educator Preparation Program (EPP) . Co-requisite TCED 302 . Must make a C or better.
