BADM 721 - Critical Thinking

This course introduces the student to the view that critical thinking results from an understanding of the subtleties of language and logic. Knowledge from disciplines as diverse as Communications, English, and Philosophy will be consulted to help students develop a deep and abiding appreciation for the importance of sound reasoning in all dimensions of their personal, public and professional lives. Moreover, students will develop and refine their written communication abilities in order to demonstrate advanced reasoning and critical thinking skills. Effective use of support for arguments in written form will allow students to demonstrate mastery of course objectives.
